Calarts Spring 2025
Design Overview:
For the Graduation stage design of 2025, we wanted to capture and celebrate the essence of each and every Calartian, and to us that was light.

Light represents the transformative journey of every student. It embodies the spark of discovery, the power of resilience, and the creativity in this incredible community with the city of Los Angeles being this backbone of support.

For the 2025 CalArts Graduation, it's time for everyone to step into the spotlight that was once highlighting our homework now shining on us. We have aimed to bring playfulness, vibrant color, and little bit of history all woven into the wonderful ceremony.

We looked to light to represent:
  • The legacy of our university
  • The alumni
  • Lighting the way across disciplines
  • The presence of the City of Angels
  • The light of our community 
  • The Creative Light “Our Spark” 
  • Light as power 
  • Lighting our homework/the many hours we have worked to earn this degree
